anyoen running a biger fuel pump in a crx??
i need to get one ASAP and need to find out if the 99-00 civic si walbro 255l pump will work.
also is it true we have to drop the tank to get to it? i thought it would be as easy as my 00 si would be.

Go to http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com for a parts list.
You have to drop the tank to get to the pump. Its on the drivers side rear corner. PITA.
You may have to up the amps on fuse 14, most of us have blown it after installing the walbro pump.

yeah it'll work, you'll just have to adapt the wiring harness on your crx pump assmbly to match the 99-00 Si pump. The CRX pumps use post-stlye connectors,m whereas the newer model use a plug. Easy enough to do though just get some spade connectors and extend your wires a bit and you're good. I recently swapped the pump in my HF out for a 94+ 'teg pump that I got for free. Works like a charm!
I have a bosche thats somewhat ******* huge to say the least, check http://www.theoldone.com, that's the pump I'm running. The walbro pumps suck IMO. It loses pressure when at idle. Another pump I could reccomend that cycles like once every 5 mins is a AC delco R32 Skyline pump. Yes, it does fit. Tightly I might add. Still you will probably never need another fuel pump after you drop that badboy in. HTH,
