Converting front end . . .
Ok I know alot of u guys are gonna flame me for this but I dont really care, b/c I like the idea and the way it turns out. The 00 front end on a crx, or maybe EG (cant find any pics of that) But I just want to know what im going to need to complete this and make it a clean project?
I was thinken of going to a junkyard and picking up headlights, bumpers, radiator support, fenders, and hood. And I know i have to cut the fenders and re-weld them closer to the headlights. otherwise would everything else bolt up ? ? Also is there anyway I can make my current radiator work with the new support ?
Also would the eg or ek be easier to complete. Im assuming the eg?

Just make some brackets for the current radiator to fit. And good luck on the build. You have a pretty big task infront of you. I have a buddy now that is putting a 94 front on a ef hatch. At first I was skeptical but he is real good at body work so its turning out good.
look for someone parting out there car... i swear you could get the whole damn front end for 200. i was offered an ek front end for 100, 150 and the guy would put it on for me. didnt take it cuz then i dont have an ef anymore... i love me car the way it is lol
I dont know, I like the stock/jdm look alot, but everyone has it, and bodykits are definitly not an option. So I figure id do somethin you dont see that much of, and it looks alot better than a teg front end

Minus the wing, that looks badass

Neither are you, you guys are like a bad rash that is popping up on HT. Only we can't get rid of you. We can only hope for Darwin. Leave the freaking car alone....if you keep going you will get more and more flaming directed straight at you. If Honda wanted that front end on it they would have done. The car looks like your butthole....FUGLY!
Let me sum it up for you 99% of the guys on this board hate this conversion and we hate the people that want to do it.
I think you should put a VW bug front end, 240 Rear End and use the CRX in the middle.
