D16Y8 Auto to B16A 5SPD Mounts
Ok guys, I've been trying to sort this out for a little while and wanted to see if anyone had the definitive answer on it.
Im going from a 1997 Civic EX/Si D16Y8 automatic to an OBD1 B16A2 5speed
To go to 5 speed dseries i know i need the lower transmission mount and rear upper bracket (rear tranny mount seems to be hit or miss -- works for some people but not others), but only wanted to buy what i need for the b-series engine.
I've heard lots of different stories, like I need the rear tranny bracket from a 99-00 SIR/CRV and the lower transmission mount from the same car, and i've also heard lower mount from a 96-00 Civic 5spd, etc.
Could someone clarify once and for all which brackets/mounts are needed to get the engine bolted into my car, after that we should be golden (wiring and whatnot is already taken care of).
