Default How much torque can an exedy organic stage 1 clutch hold?

Im starting to piece together my clutch kit. Im trying to find out if an exedy stage 1 organic will be enough for a turbo application. Im looking to put out around 250 whp. Im on a little bit of a budget so I cant buy anything crazy. What do you guys think?

You might want to look at ACT's clutches instead, they are better product IMHO

stage one is kinda for street bolt on, if you going to go thru all the trouble to swap a disc, why not get some better piece?

I never really heard much of act. I just picked exedy because I thought it would be a more reputable brand. What kind of disc do that you suggest that I go with?

i cracked the hub on a exedy "racing organic" with only 200whp.

this was from launching at the track, but always on street tires, so not exactly the hardest launches in the world.

i wouldn't trust and exedy disc for anything more than daily driving.

the disc however wore like a champ, i put on probably like 10-20k driving miles, and got atleats 20-30 passes down the 1/4 on it, and she hardly shows any wear.

Exedy clutchs are wonderful. but for your application I would get a stage 2. otherwise its gonna spin and burn up quick. Great clutches though
