subframe seems to be bent

 

i think it will be. bc i had a 93 4dr. and it got hit from duh bac and bent the wheel and tore da bummper off and more damange. and they totaled it

Yeah, i'm thinking that the car will be totaled. If the cost to fix the car looks like it's gonna be anywhere near the value of the car itself, consider it gone.

Yes. My car doesn't look as bad as that, but i got hit the same way and they still totaled it

 

some idiot ran a stop sign and he didnt see me. Oh well at least I boosted it one last time and didnt get hit on my door because of the boost

anyone have ideas as to what the insurance of the other guy wil do? will they total it then take it with all my parts or will they add up all the parts (i have reciepts for everything) and cut me that? will they let me buy it back for a lower price? he has geico

 

Oooh Yeah consider it gone I've seen cars far better than that and the were totaled. I'm just interested in the story behind this accident.

 

possibly you can pull all of the parts off, thats what geico did for me when i wrecked mine. they wont do **** for mods usually

 

You're pretty much fucked 5 ways to sunday.
I got rear ended and the Co. all state is being ********, saying they're deciding if they're going to pay, blah blah blah. Make sure you show them receipts though. Has anyone come to appraise your car?

ugh, hopefully they will let me take the turbo

 

you can take anything you want off the car besides the motor and a few other things as long as you have not setteled on the car with them.

Just Take all your things of of the car b4 they come and get it if they decided to total it..

Most likley they will because of the way it was hit.. and plus i have seen cars way less worse than yours get totaled.. just cuz

 

do what i did and take everything off before they even see the car. that way they wont say it was removed if they never saw it.......!!

As long as you have not settled with them on the amount you are going to get for the car. But, if they apraise the car and take pictures before you take the parts off, it's a good idea to just let them go.

ok i am having them come friday, do you think it will be obvious if i take the intercooler and piping off but leave the turbo and stuff, also should i take my alarm off before they come?

come on dude this isnt a hard decision they cant report the stuff missing if they didnt see it in the first place. and a turbo! come on that ***** expensive get it before the appraisal my man

 

o and also confirming what the others said that its totaled my friend got rear ended and the damage wasnt half as bad as that and his car was 3 dollars from being totaled lol
