Default Drag Racing Rule Question on Door handles

I was thinking of put door handle on my Integra that do not have the key hole in them, is the ok or will I fail tech?

It'll be ok. I mean whats the point of having the keyhole there when the keys are in the ignition? Therefore, not having locks is not a saftey issue.

Most race cars don't even have keys for the ignition, just dash mounted rocker switches.

The issue is the same as it is with shaved door handles and locks. If you are in the car and the doors are locked and you get in an accident how will the saftey officals get you out of the car? I know they will just break the window but if that is the case why can you not race with shaved door handles. I think it is the same concept.

rules say doors must plainly open from inside and out.. what are you going to do, give the tech official a remote control to pop your solenoid to open the door?

key hole removed is ok if the whole handle is shaved no good
