I'm going to be hitting the junkyards next weekend and was wondering whats the best tranny that will bolt up to my D15B2 minime swap with a Z6 head.I think I've heard an EX tranny is good along with the Si?? Come on give me some knowledge!!!!!!!!!

 

if you are talking about 92-95 ex tranny it won't work since it is hydraulicly activated but the 88-91 si tranny is best and it is cable so will plug and play

Ex as in 88-91 Civic Ex (sedan). Not the 92-95. Get a Civic/CRX Si transmission or the Ex transmission, its the exact same, just make sure its stick (because EX's came in auto).

EX was only made in 90-91

 

But it's plug and play right???
