Been thinking for a while about getting the VTX Performance Cruiser. Was wondering if anyone on here owned one and how they liked it compared to other motorcycles on the market. I don't want to buy a Harley because I think they're too expensive and plus, I'm very fond of Honda products. Just was wondering how their bikes are.

i havent really rode one for a distance. just some pre sales break in stuff. but they ride nice make good exhaust music and last 5 times longer than a harley without a major problem. i always thought they were great bikes.

 

my dad has the VTX1300 .... its a nice bike, really smooth and has some ***** to it also.

I've ridden my brother's 1100. It's a fun bike but I didn't like the bars at the time. He's getting drag bars soon so that'll change. I couldn't get used to the huge feel of it either.... I prefer my sport bike to it by far

 

I'm kind of starting to lean more towards the sport cruiser now.

All that's left now to do is try to talk the fiance into letting me get one. Will be quite interesting.

 

the vtx is a great bike
the ride is incredible and the torque is amazing
i have never ridden another sport cruiser nicer than the vtx
They also smoke harleys with extremely expensive performance engines

 

my uncle has a vtx 1800r, it is a very slick bike, way nicer than anything else ive ever seen in a cruiser. i did have a picture of a vtx 1800 doing a wheelie at the track but now i cant find it.

I'm still thinking about it. It's a pretty big decision for me to make so I'm going to keep pondering it. The VTX will definately be the first bike I go look at though when I decide.

yea if you have a chance look at a rune. you will fall in love. just dont look at the price tag.
