Looking for the most virgin of itr's.
Hi guys. Yes, i know, still on this topic, just like the last one! I understand this should be in the WTB section for cars (moderators, feel free to remove this topic, i will understand), but this is the probably the best place for itr owners to see.
This is what I am looking to purchase:
2001 Canadian-spec Championship White Acura Integra Type R w/red interior.
OR
1997 US or Canadian-spec Championship White Acura Integra type R w/black interior
HAS to be VERY LOW MILES (read. under 10 000 miles).
NONE of the PANELS repainted/resprayed.
ALL VIN # matching (ie. unibody, doors, fenders, hatch, hood, rear bumper, front bumper.
No mods. Just factory OEM stuff from HONDA/ACURA.
ALL this will be confirmed with a classic car appraisal before purchase.
I understand it is difficult to find such a rare gem, but i will find one. I know many of you will say forget it...impossible...but i dont care.
I am 100% serious and ready to make offers. Good ones. The car will be (remain) a garage queen for its entire life with me. I am willing to travel to see the car and willing to transport the car within an enclosed trailer to my home, Montreal, Canada.
Thank you and please, if you have any contacts or if you are an owner of such a car, please contact me by pm to further discuss the matter.
Thank you
Daniel

I understand that everyone wants the car for a different reason, but that sure sounds like a sad life for an ITR to me.
An ITR needs to be allowed to run free on its natural environment (the road course).

I know it sounds like a sad life for the itr, but i am already in the process of building a track car. I just want something that we can all appreciate in 25-50 years. We all love clean itr's, and i think it would put a smile on everybody's face to see one in the far future. But i appreciate your input and i know what you mean Reid.

To YUMvtec: yes, i sold my PY itr almost 4 years ago. I was still a student. Now I graduated and I am working. I can afford it.
Barrett-Jackson!!! Ya, I dont think japanese cars will ever be as popular as good old small and big blocks in America down the road. To be honest, the itr was my favorite car when I got my liscence. I bought one about 4 years later, and loved it, until I got fed up with the ridiculous insurance premiums. Now i would love to own, a mint one and drive it occasionnally. I would like that, it would put a smile on my face.

You created a post on this same issue in November of 04.
The 97R that spoke of in that post (4,000 miles) now has around 7,500 miles. PM me your contact information if you are interested and I will forward it on.

I have a beautiful '98 with just over 150K miles, none of the front pannel vins match the firewall, and hardly any of the rest of the body pannels are straight. Dirty as a mother, and never spent much of it's life in a garage. Good runner!!!
pretty much fits your description exactly. PM me with offers.
garage queens are retarded.....

he already told you why, i think he wants to pull it out in like 30 years and be like, "look guys, 97 CW ITR with 5000 miles y0" i don't know, kind of gay... but to each his own
So you're another Brake Dust Black Pearl fading to Rich Exhaust Black Pearl, with a smattering of off-white in the middle?
Mmmmmm, my favorite colors!

I think Endyn probably still has their '97 with a couple hundred miles. At least, they still refer to it in some articles.

What's gay about buying something and keeping it nice, or buying it to collect? Anyone ever been to a museum?
Some people collect NASCAR china, some people collect automobiles. Who F'in cares and why do some look down on folks for not driving the **** out of their cars?

First of all, i dont appreciate any of you who are name calling
. SO immature of you guys. You don't like what i do with my money, dont expletive post on here. I have certain interests. Some collect paintings, some cars... The car will be driven occasionnally (ie. garage queen, i never said it will be donated to a freaking museum).
Anyways, thanks to the ones who are understanding.

They are out there, you just need to find the right one. Ideally I would like to do something similar to this if I can in the future. Having an ITR (or any track worthy car) as a weekend car and a showpiece ITR that i'll occasionally romp on.
