Has anyone seen a crx with a Ek front and does anyone know how to do it?

You hit your self in the head with a hammer so that way when somebody ask what the hell is wrong with you for doing this to an EF? you can claim brain damage and they may go easier on you, please don't attempt this I have seen it before and it looks worse everytime!!

 

ive seen a eg front end on a crx.. looks pretty funny to me

Yeah, my friend has one. Since someone already post pic of another car with that front, I'm not gonna do it again. But, as for the work, you have to cut both fenders right behind the wheel (the closer part to the door) to use CRX mounting point at the door. Then use the front half of the civic fenders for fitting the lights and hood. They have to be welded, sanded, and fillered. As for the radiator support, it need to be cut out, lengthened and then the Civic's radiator get welded on. The civic's hood's skeleton need to be cut out at the bottom of the hood( the part closer to the windshield). Then all you need is paint.
To all the EF's hard core guys, I'm doing this because he asked for infos, and that's what we all are here for right? If he asked how it looks, or should it be done, then you guys can say what you think. To me, this is Honda Tech and he's here asking for infos. So, we give infos. That's my 2cents.

 

I problably have a picture of a red CRX with EK nose... it think it looks damn sexy!

agreed, dont we have a apperance and cosmetic forum for this kinda crap?

it seems more and more threads about putting X front end on crx/ef civic are poping up.

Putting an EK front end on a CRX is like a dude getting breasts...it just doesn't make sense.

I was going to break out the torch...but the white one looks nicely done actually. Needs black housings tho. The frog eyes stand out too much.

That ugly as hell, the only u might want to try is an insight front end, i bet that maller and better lucking on a rex, but still is ugly no matter what conversion comes up. Unless its siR LOl

 

ive only seen an EG with an EK front end...thats the only one i liked anyway

 

ive been offered a ek front to put on my hatch, and an eg front. personally, it kills the car. imo you should just keep the crx front. thats your car dude, she doesnt wanna be hidden behind another face lol. you got a ef dude...let it shine.

 

its a neat idea and i praise the guys that put effort into doing it, but the headlights just look too big to be on a crx.

 

why dont you just buy an ek and chop the rear end off of it. it might be cheaper and less wiring.
