gsr and h22 trannys have pretty much the same gear ratios, there is a conversion kit to bolt up b series tranny to h series motor, only a b16 or type r tranny, but if you use the b16 tranny get ready for ******* bad gas mileage.

higher cruising rpm doesnt really kill your gas mileage....its more in the throttle %

i have a 4.71 final drive in my car....

b16 gearing is annoying, but it will make your car fast.

daily driver? how's the gas mileage per tank? I'm considering a shorter final drive but wondering if it's worth it. I do about 70% freeway driving.

any performance gain?

just remeber that the h2b plate to mount the b series tranny to the h series motor is to fit in a civic/integra not a prelude. so you would need custom axles and mounts.

If your putting an H into a civic or teg, then get the H2B kit.

This plate make it all happen but seriously non of you guys need it unless your hardcore racing or wanna just spend money. H series tranny are known for trouble when shifting in high rpm and can't take the abuse as much as a b series tranny.

I think it's a wonderful product but not for the average joe.
