i need to know what the part that holds the oil filter is called!!! i was told it's an oil cooler?? also if anyone knows anything about it please share, i have an oil leak coming from behind it (it's not the filter) so i need to know if i need somekind of gasket or seal? and where can i get one (if needed) thanks for any help

yes it is the oil cooler (note the coolant hoses routing through it), all you need is to put on the oil filter and your good to go.

 

it has an o-ring behind it

yes - CRX Si also had some oil cooler, but part is no longer stocked by Honda - you need to get it from Acura - go here and enter part no.

Well if you mentioned it was leaking then it would not have been hard to say, yes you need to replace the seal, way to forget that part.
