best ecu for zc

Default best ecu for zc

what is the best ecu to run for my dohc zc motor and what do i need like a new distibuter and alternator or what any help please

You CAN run a CRX Si ECU...but you won't get the most out of your ZC.

Run the ECU from an 88-89 5-speed Integra (PG7) or the JDM ZC ECU (PM7). I've run both of these on a DOHC ZC, the PG7 ran more rich, the PM7 was the better one...but I got lucky and got a good deal on it from eBay...if it wasn't so cheap I might not have bothered and would have stayed with the Teg ECU.

Just as a side note, the JDM ECU is speed limited at 112...if this matters to you.

haha i dont know i5 action hehe ya know i guess i wouldnt need to go that fast at the track but it still is nice to hit a buck 30 or 50

Yeah, you can get rid of the speed limiter, or have Zdyne turn your ecu into a ZC ecu with no limiter, whatever. Good luck hitting "a buck fifty" in a ZC CRX, though.
