Default tires

I'm getting new tires cuz I'm frankly sick of the piece of **** stock tires. What do you suggest? I'm thinking Nitto 555R 225/50 R-16. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Kuhmo ECSTA Supra 712s (great value performer)
Bridgestone S-03's (if money is no object)
Falken Azenis (good performer)

I just picked up some 17 subzeros and the Kuhmos. Couldn't beat the price/performance of that combination.

well bro the nittos are a real good tire. if you are gona get a good pair of performance tires i'd recomend either the falken azienis or the r555. both of these tires are good. i had the falkens and all i can say is that they grab hella good. but my friend has the r555 on his s2ooo and he loves them. so both of these tires are good. well good luck

Well the 555R is a race tire which I doubt you wanna role around on the street with, especially if it rains, and the Azenis don't come in 225/50/16. If your looking for value, definetly go with the Kumhos, but if money is no object, there are many tires that come to mind. SO-3s, RE730s, BFG KDWs, etc.

Nitto 555 is an excellent tire. They stick like glue!!! I would recomend them to anyone! They have excellent grip in the rain, and don't chirp when you are doing daily driving! I have them on my RSX @ 225/40/18.

The Azenis do come in 225/50R16, but are VR rated, not ZR. If you are going to do really high performance driving and this matters to you, it might be a problem.
I run 225/45ZR17 Azenis - I like 'em a lot.
