I backed the car up and it just stalled. I have checked the ECU and it lights up, so that means the main relay is good. Stuck a screw driver in the plug wires and I am getting spark. I pulled the fuel hose off the filter and tried to start it and fuel is coming out. I don't know what else to try. It is turning over but will not start. Any one have any more ideas?

i had a simular problem with my honda and i thought the mail relay was good cause it worked in my other car but one of my buddies told me to take the cover off and we did and it was fried! good luck!

 

I know, but it the main is bad the ECU will get no power and mine does. The light comes on the goes off.

 

not true, just get a relay from another ef and put it it, i bet it will start...same thing happend to mine and then i swaped out the relay, and i never had a problem since!

 

damn this relay is like 5 mo old. this sucks another $60

ok, swapped out the relay and it started right up........

Then about an hr later it would not start again. I keep trying to start it and noticed that I am not smelling any fuel, so I sprayed some down the t-body and it started. yay!!!

So I had some swapped injectors laying around and put them in. Well it will start, but it sounds like it is starving. I am going to change the filter today, but fo you guys think it may be the pump? Or is there any thing else it could be?

ok this is what you do to see if your pump is bad...this is going to take two people...have a friend put the car key in the accesories turn, you know where all the dash lights come on...and when he does that put your ear to the gas cap door. if you hear like a whirling sound then your pump is good. i dont really know what a bad one would sound like.

no problem, but how is it not running good now?

 

might check all of ur grounds on the car. i missed one ground on my car and it wouldn't start at all. it was getting fuel to the fuel rail but not the injectors. hope that helps u out.
