Engine light -> Cut Timing belt
Question...
I'm not familiar with our engines, and I don't have a shop manual.
What in the engine could rub the exact middle of the timing belt(almost cutting it in half)?
My engine light came on over the weekend. I took it to acura, and they said that a bolt was lose and was cutting into my timing belt. I went in to take a look, and it was in the dead center, and it had worn it really thin. They manager was the only person there, so he didn't know the details.
What could cause this?
