Default help! bike is dead

so i went to jump my bike because it didnt start. This happened before so i knew what i was doing. However, when plugging the wires onto, the negative end touched some metal and now my bike is completely dead.

Is it just the battery that's fried? Or is it completely the circuitrythats f'd?
Please help!

What did you jump the bike with? If it was from a car that was running, you may have overloaded the system.

How old is the battery?

Have you had this problem occurring frequently?

If your battery isn't fried it arched start checking fuses you might have blown some.

i knew not to start the car. and this happened once before, so i wasn't too surprised to see this happen again. If a new battery doens't work, imma check fuses. and if that doesn't work, any ther suggestions?

Thanks for the input so far guys

BEFORE you replace your battery check for an in-line fuse somewhere on the left rear part of the subframe under the plastics... You can find it easily by following the positive line coming from the battery backwards and it should be obvious as to what it is. I believe it's like a green fuse and I fried my fuse like that once. They're super cheap and easy to fix. Get a new battery while you're at it after you fix this

did you mean to say that the positive touched the metal? the negative wire touching the metal shouldn't have done anything as it's the ground... I accidently touched the positive to my ground when wiring in my new RR and wasn't thinking about disconnecting the battery... I was real confused until I realized the obvious which is I arc'd it and fried the in-line fuse

glad to hear. Iwas 99.99% sure that was the problem. You'll get absolutely nothing if it's dead and be completely fucked until you realize what happened. I think $2 got me like 4 or 5 new fuses
