I did the up-pipe for the turbo, downpipe, wastegate dump tube, modified the turboxs IC piping(reversed direction of flow), relocated the MAF, and welded on the tial 50mm. I also eliminated the tumbler deletes, ported the housing, port matched the housing to the head and then the housing to the intake manifold. All the ic piping, coolant housing "neck", down pipe, up pipe, header, dumptube etc. the werx. We put my turbo on it now, until the new "big un" comes in. We'll be tuning it next weekend on 110 and on pump gas. :-D

nice man, what turbos going on that beast? 35r? did you think about reversing the manifold to shorten the piping?

 

yeah if you flip the manifold the alternator is directly in teh way... so no dice. I think when we do modify the intake manifold we're going to run twin turbo's with twin intake manifolds/tb's...with a shared IC. trying to figure out which turbo's will get the job done...considering GT28's right now.
