would you guys put $300.00 if you had it down on it cannot do that in a quarter? cuz im about to because this guy thinks he can do it! lol which i know his car cant be that fast with what i said
if there is no turbo on it and the car has an interior, without slicks and spray i don't see how you could lose, regardless of what internals you can't see. anyone more into drag racing get different mileage out of this one?

not possible - maybe 15.1 - our 89 STD drag only hatch with all-motor semi-built DOHC ZC would run quicker than 13.1 at lower altitude, but it only weighs 1540lbs with driver

uh no. not stock. My buddies hf DOHC zc I/H/2 1/4 exhaust, centerforce stage 2 clutch, on steelies ran like 14.7 and like 14 flat with 75 shot. If the guy ran a shot and slicks it may be possible only then if he can drive. I'd bet him.
I can pull off crazy 9's with my SOHC ZC.........NOT!
Bet him a grand. Even with slicks, if he tries to nos it, it will probably pop before the end of the 1/4 mile. If he is running no turbo, and blower and no nos, it's bullet proof! Best I've seen with a DOHC ZC on I/H/E ran a 15.2 on steelies with kuhmos on them. The is no way he is getting a 13....maybe on an 1/8th mile.

What about nitrous? I think it would be possible, but not safe to run a high hp nitrous setup and do it maybe on slicks because he would be spinning so bad without them.

I dont know what you guys are doing but i used to run 13.5's all day long on a DOHC zc. Stock block, pnp head, web cams, potred IM and TB on 14x8 mt's. That set up was maxed out though, so 13.1 would be pushing it.

Not just with those mods. About the only way you are going to run CLOSE to 13.1 with a ZC in a 1989 CRX SI allmotor is if you throw every mod possible at the motor and strip the car down to practically nothing. But no, you are NOT going to run 13.1 in a 1989 CRX SI with full interior and just open headers. You will be lucky if you run 15.1 with this setup.
