Default another of my cars stolen.....

Well this is my second civic that got stolen and this one was from right in front of my house...at 5 30 am ....it was under a cover for the last 4 months and the tranny was shot stuck in first gear so needless to say the bastard that stole it didnt get to far ...and he reved the **** outta it and woke my dad up so he was right on it...and it was found 2 blocks away and the thief nowhere to be found ....i was just wondering if its gettin this bad everyone with honda theft or if its just eastern pa... alot of my friends cars have recently got stolen and they werent so lucky..is it even worth building a bad *** honda anymore or should we all just resort to ford festivas....

I don't think it really matters what car you're running. If it's sellable on the black market then it's gonna get jacked! By not rebuilding your Civic you're letting them win. And we don't want that! Just take all the precautions necessary to keep your ride safe. Kill switches, pulling ECUs, pitbulls etc.

Don't give up. Never surrender. win one for the Gipper. Or whatever it'll take to keep you from giving up.

Yeah, theft is everywhere. If you're planning to keep your car under the cover for some time longer; pull the ECU, Dizzy, etc. Whatever it takes to keep it safe.

Def. getting hard to keep a nice honda these days, cars around here gettin stolen all the time, but u should try to do things to prevent it from gettin jacked, like <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 1989CivicSi &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Yeah, theft is everywhere. If you're planning to keep your car under the cover for some time longer; pull the ECU, Dizzy, etc. Whatever it takes to keep it safe. </TD></TR></TABLE> and just be happy u got it back in 1 peice
