Brakes
Whats up ya all. I have a ? for all the new 2001 GSR's owners out there when did the brakes lose that stopping touch because I have only 5,888 miles on my car and now Im feeling my brakes stopping power is getting worst everyday b/c it feels spongy.
what should I do?
what should I do?
Glaze your pads?
New fluid and pads would be a suggestion, w/ Valvoline syntech or, better, ATE superblue and Porterfield R4S or Carbotech (the distributor) Axxis Ultimate pads, with the later being way cheaper. You'll still need to buy Porterfield rear pads no matter, since the Ultimates are fronts only.

Bleed your brakes and see if that improves anything. Also, check your brake master cylinder for any leaks...if that so happens to be the culprit, you should get that replaced under warranty.
Have the brakes been properly broken in?
Actually, I think you should just bring it to the dealer and get it fixed under warranty no matter what the problem may be.
