head studs are stretching, you need a new headgasket and some arp headstuds, its a common problem with the d

I agree its HG... so you'll want to put a new one in... and if you don't have headstuds (ex: ARPs)... you should get some.

ARPs are reusable. When the motor was put together... did they check that surfaces were level? Is the first time you've used the ARPs?(if so... did you retorque them after a few heat cycles?)

What did you torque the studs to, to begin with? I have heard a few people say that ARP recommended 65 pounds-feet for the D, but that it really should be 75?

I am going to say no. But you can give it a shot. Re torque them and then get back to us on it. More than likely you will have to replace the head gasket. But you never know.

You never know, just give it a shot. It takes 10 mins to retorque the studs.

Nope. More than likley not. You just need to torque the head studs better next time. ANd clean the surfaces again. Maybe ask your tuner to pull a few degrees of timing too.
