Default Problem with my 94 accord

i have this reaccuring problem with my car, when ever i get to a little less than half tank on gas my car starts do this little shaking action when ever i step on the brakes and try to stop. And on some occasions it will even go as far as the car actually dying on me. i was wondering if anyone could possibly know whats going on with my car and how would i go about fixing it.

I have doubts the fuel level is the problem, from your description there might be a vacuum leak. The brake booster uses a lot of vacuum when you step on the brake.

yea thanks for your input, the only reason i stated the fuel level reasoning is because this type of thing only happens when im low on gas when the tank is full the car runs perfectly.

Has there ever been any repairs, or damage done to the Fuel Tank?
I've seen where:
The Bottom of the tank was collapsed upward, effectively eliminating the sump for the pump pick-up. The pump pick-up would uncover during hard braking (sucking air, pressure would drop - etc.)

The first place I'd start would be to mount a mechanical fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail and watch the pressure whenever this condition occurs. Anything less than that would be a lucky guess.
