Im going to replace my slave cylinder and master cylinder. Are there any brands I should go with or stay away from? Is it worth paying the money for honda oem ?
I've used a couple generic autozone master and slave cylinders on my old Accord and my Prelude and have never had any issues.
If I were using some kind of monster clutch to hold 600whp, then I would probably pay extra to get nicer parts, but for stock or slightly upgraded clutch, I personally think the autozone stuff works fine

Well who makes a quality master cylinder/slave cylinder for the 5th gen lude (besides Honda OEM) ? I see omni power makes a master cylinder im not sure if they make a prelude app.

I haven't had bad experiences using autozone master & slave cylinders, OEM may be better, but I used Autozone on my 5th gen a few months ago because I had $100 worth of gift cards for there
and have had zero issues. Normally I'm a fan of OEM, but for some stuff - eh.

yes omni makes one, no they dont make one for ludes.
i was looking to get one myself but they make them for the other popular hondas eg/dc. OEM is always reliable, but IMO a MC/SC isnt that compliated, nor does it increase power so like someone else said unless you neeeeeeeeeeed more fluid for that 400whp+ applications go with whatevers in your budget b/n oem and napa/autozone/advanced/pepboys whatever. most should come with a warranty anyways and they are fairly inexpensive.
