i just replaced new axle on my left side and everytime i make a sharp left turn, i can hear it pop. what should i b worry about? can i drive like this?

 

was it a remanufactured axle? Those tend to have problems sometimes..

maybe a bad boot? Pull it out and take it back.

 

am i safe to drive like this?

 

if it keeps popping no, it's a matter of time before it snaps

 

Make sure the axle is seated all the way with the C-clip in the groove. It might be free floating.

 

what is axle pop? i ahve a weird problem aith my integra. its seems to vibrate dangerously under accerleration. recently changed the cltuch. any help? sorry to steal the thread. just looking for info.

means your axle's are going out, eventually they'll snap. and sometimes they'll take a chunk out of something. say your tranny

what is free floating?
