need help...swap or turbo?

i juz moved to cali and im contemplating which one to do? h22swap or juz turbo my d16y8? i heard that its kinda hard bout the swaps coz of cali emissions stuff then turbo is like i have to change alot of stuff...any info will be really helpful and apprecitated. thanks alot
