1989 CRX Si - built turbo D16Z6 w/ T3/T04E
I am selling this car for a friend who has recently brought it back from Hawaii at the end of his Navy carreer. Here is the skinny:
Black w/ Grey int, driver side seat is owned, interior in general is a bit rough. Unibody is decent, but the fenders and doors are dinged up. Title is clear and the car has never been hit hard(i.e. frame issues). Sunroof panel is rusted badly, but this is the only part of the body where I have seen any rust whatsoever. OK, now to the good stuff...
D16Z6 built by Exospeed
Block:
AEBS Sleeves
Eagle H-Beam forged rods
Arias 8.5:1 Pistons
Micro-poished crank
Head:
Crower SS Nitrided .5 mm oversize valves
Ti Retainers
Double valve springs
AEM Adj. Sprocket
stock cam
Ancillaries:
Skunk2 Intake
BBK 70mm Throttle Body
Custom tubular exhaust manifold (stainless)
450cc Injectors
Turbonetics T3/T04E
Turbonetics Evolution Wastegate
Zdyne ECU
Stainless booost piping
Front Mount IC (approx 30x6x4, still confirming brand)
3" Turbo-back Exhaust
HKS BOV
Cusco Catch Can
Drivetrain:
8 lb Prolite Flywheel
ACT Stage 2 C-K clutch
Quaiffe Torque-Biasing Diff
Filled Mounts
Z-10 Traction Bars
Car has not been tuned, and never run at high boost since the engine build (approx 500 miles ago). Other than a leak on the manifold that makes idling tough when the car is cold, it is very drivable/usable. It has current Hawaii tags. Car is located in Long Beach, CA area.
My friend has already moved out to his new job in the Midwest and is just anxious to sell the car and dosen't want to deal with it, which is where I come in. He has spent over $6500 on the drivetrain alone. He's just trying to recoup some of his investment and basically considers the shell free, so he's asking $5000. Please post here with any questions or PM me. I haven't been on here regularly for some time but I will do my best to keep up with my PMs.
Thanks in advance.
PS - pics should be up this afternoon.

At long last, PICS! Sorry anyone who was interested, I got camera-jacked two weeks ago so I had to get a new one. Anyway, here you go:

Please note, the car will come with stock Si wheels, not the Villians. Also, it will come with new sunroof panel to replace the rusty one. It will also come with an extra turbo manifold.
Thanks for looking

Yeah, the wiring looks like crap, he just got it together so he could get it around once it was over here. It looks like hell, but everything works fine, just needs to be cleaned up.
