yey! just turned over to 100,000 chassis miles....but are my miles rolled back?
i just turned to 100,000 miles on my chassis, but some one said that you can tell if your miles have been turned back if at 100,000 miles all the number arnt in a strait line....mine werent....ill have pics of it, but right now im at work, so check back after 11:00 AM
That doesn't necessarily mean that the miles were rolled back. Somebody could have replaced the gauge cluster that is in there and had to make the mileage match up with the car by changing it.
I've done it a couple of times now after swapping out different clusters. It has to be done if you are changing clusters and want the mileage to be correct. I recently traded my si cluster for a cx civic cluster with over 100thousand miles on it. My car only has 81thousand miles so I had to roll the numbers back to match. That was my only option considering that no business that I talked to would touch it.
