so i have been working on this project now for a couple of weeks....



a really good customer of mine called me said he need something trick



so we met up and went over some things....long story shorted

he needs a AUTOPC...with touchscreen installed



now these prefabbed systems can be really expensive and very picky...heat affects them as well..

lots of install nightmares



well after alot of careful research i decided on picking up the task and building a custom system



the best part is i did it and got everything installed for under 2300


some prefab systems can be 2500 and up...and that is without install and software programing



wow alot of money you say

how bout having 80gig's of storage space in ur ride at all times

mp3's
video's
dvd's/vcd's
gps navigation
wifi/wireless lan
app interface
tv
radio
XM/siruis
weather
internet



the possibiletes r crazy

of course the more features is more hardware more money



i'm getting rdy to do this system in my own ride...i have customized the software so it auto loads and fits the whole screen.....it's basically a computer...but withall the software setup u only see the prog..."look down for a screen shot"

the software is free and skinable...it is not mine....but i have set up some features for us honda peep's

it's all controlled thru a touch screen...no keyboard or mouse...but you can still use them



this program is great...u can easily change the background image and the logo up top...to fit ur ride



and if u didn't notice on the main screen i embedded hondalogger....no more pullin in and out the laptop to do some data logging all you do is touch that button and bam...hondalogger





i just finished the install in my customers car the other day...he was more than plz....i actually did a 10 touch screen in the dash of a tahoe...it came out sick....he didn't get that many extras so the total installed price was around 2300





i'm willing to do this kinda work for you people....the price range i would say is about 1700 going up

it really depends on what features you want and the size of the screen and how you want it fabricated



i will and can take care of the whole install process myself...install/fabricating/programming

no **** this is "baller's only". it would be really sick to own this setup.

 

i can get this system installed for pretty cheap...not much more than a nice indash....but you know...alot more features
