hi just need to know what needs replacing?

recently after my car is warmed up it seems that the bottom of my gear stick is squeaking, however it only squeaks when i shift forward.

eg. from neutral to 1st, 3rd and 5th, and also from 2nd and 4th to neutral.

sounds like plastic rubbing, is it the bushes? or is it something else?

btw i have a stock gear box etc...

you could probably get away with lubricating the bottom of the shifter (2 - The ball). I use a high pressure synthetic axle grease (Castrol or Amsoil - wutever is within reach at the time)

Worse things worse, replace (8) and while you are at it, look to get some energy suspension shifter stabilizer bushings (replaces 15, 18)

Mugen makes them too. (replaces 15, 18 + 11)

As does Prothane, Spoon etc...etc... (replaces 15, 18)
