hi i bought my 91 civic si about 6 months ago and when i bought the car it came with the stock springs and shocks in the front and 2 gr2s with some springs that raised the back end of the car like 2 inches and were also SUPER stiff. so i went to the junk yard and got 2 complete struts and put them in to try to get the car back to stock height. after i put the struts in when i went around turns i would here this clicking noise from the back. lets say i was turning left i would hear it from the right side and if i was turning right i would hear it from the left. its almost louder than a clicking noise almost a banging. i torqued everything to spec i even re checked and it still does it. does anyone have any ideas.

 

u sure its not comming from the front??

sounds like a bad CV boot...

 

replace the axels

 

axles and pure coincidence. it's weird when you do a totally unrelated mod and then its something else completely that went wrong. it happens, just check your axles.
