Default sound deadening material help

ok i am whating to make my ride less load on road and i was thinking of using dinomat but people says it really heaviy


does anyone know a light sound deadening material ??

that would work just as well!!!

sound deading will add some extra weight. its hard to find a light one that really helps with the sound.

i completly "sound proofed" my pick-up truck. and it really helps. i used a .80 mil think layer all over, the floor, doors, rear wall, under the pedals all the way to the fire wall. i just didnt do the roof

the sound is amazing, its super quiet. i only get noise from the windows. it helps when i trun my system up too, because it has no rattles and is really loud on the inside and hardley audiable from the outside.

also the car doors slam super solid sounding

its worth the 40lbs

kool do you know any good cheap sound deadening material that would work best since adding 40Lb to 60lb is not much

like would there be any good stores to get it at or should i order or what?

i am located in bakersfield ca

try rubberized undercoating. I never used it before but its pretty much the same thing. rubber and will absorb sound, and its in a spray can.
