Default my d15z1 mini me

i jst got done swapping in a d16y8 head on my stock d15z1 block. And i also put in an ex tranny. i ve heard people been saying because of the low compression. it would lose power and it isnt worth the time. But it feels like a stong mini me. i kept up with a civic si with bolt ons. But mine is stock with nothing.

oh the punning irony, you just have meant the PMS pistons that you're going to install in your d15z1 / d16y8 mini me! They come from the 02-05 gx. about 25 bucks from the dealership a piece !

Does it seem a lot faster than when it was a stock d15z1? I have the same motor and was thinking of doing the same thing. I already put an EX tranny in it and I walk EX coupes all the time. Did you try the intake manifold, throttle body, and ECU before swapping the head? I am going to do that before I swap the head onto mine. I am glad to see that someone has tried this and it actually does run.
