just recently put a z6 head on my zc motor swap went good after it was all done turned the car over and had not problems just half a quart low on oil....so i filled it up w/ some oil and left the car for about a hour and went back to start it up and it will turn over but right when i go to press on the gas it will just die....any things to look at

 

When the timing is off the car may idle OK, but when you attempt to rev the engine it will die. Happened to me before.....
