Default Maintaince required light

I have a 95 integra SE. With about 65k miles on it.
When i turn the car on the maintaince required light blinks a few times.
I know when its solid, you need maintaince .
and you can bypass it my pressing that butten underneath the stearing column.

But i wanted to know if there is a code or something which the car is showing my flashing the maintaince required light, when i turn the car on. It only does it when i turn it on.
never did it before.

its to alert you to do your maintenances at every 7,500 mile intervals..

(ie.. 7,500 mile maintenance, 15,000 mile, 22,500, 30,000, and so on every 7,500 miles maintenances).. once you get your service done you can reset the light by pressing and holding the button up under the dash by the pedals)

b/c i didn't know where exactly where it was so like 2mins into looking for the magic button, to help out other teggy owners that don't know, this button is a lil blue square under the dash on the gas pedal side just hold it w/ the key in the ignition for like 3-5sec. then that'll clear it.
