New Eclipse headunits are out. Anyone w/any experience yet?
I'm glad to see that the '05 cosmetics are gone, at least on the top-of-the-line CD7000.
My headunit's definitely going to be an Eclipse; love the one in my crx (this would be for my daily driver, btw), and don't see any need to change teams. I've already got the 6-cd changer for the dash, but have been on the fence on which h/u to get. I really hate the '05s and was going to get an 8454, even if I have to have a starmate still attached to the windshield to listen to Howard. But the CD7000 is making me rethink that, and get it instead.
So, anyone with any experience in the new decks yet? Any info would be great, thanks.

Well even though I am no longer a fan of Eclipse, [we dropped the line a few years ago because of ongoing problems with their amps and subs] I do however love my 7year old 6.5" 2ways.
One of the things I hated the most about their HUs was the non detachable face, but even though the unit was useless the crackheads would still steal them, [not knowing the ESN security would make them useless] the new CD7000 has both the ESN and removable faceplate, good move, specs look good also, now if Eclipse has solved their reliability problems, [because SQ was never an issue, 2nd only to Alpine IMO] it should be a very good unit.
