Alright I/H/E now what???
I got my I/H/E on my 94 LS and now im looking for another bolt on for a few more horespower for example, spark plug wires or throttle body or something like that? I dont have the money for a turbo so im looking for just another bolt on for 100 to 300 bucks for a little more power. so what should I look for?????
I'm in the same boat and wondering what to do next on my 94 LS. the first answer to the original question is what are you looking to improve? Engine output, handling, or the over all package? Once you've narrowed down where you're going then you can better select from your options. In response to some of the other suggestions, I'd say the best thing would be to go with a new set of cams which will likely be my next purchase along with cam gears and an AFC to really start tuning the engine and getting more power. The S2 mani will net you more topend but will decrease your torque, which you enjoy a bit more of with an LS engine. I would recommend it after the cams, not before. Not to say I don't like mine and what its done for my engine but in hindsight I'd have done the cams first. The ITR TB is a good suggestion but I'd put it after the IM install as it will match the 64mm hole on the S2 IM, not on your stock IM. Also they seem to run in the 500 range not the 100-300 range, unless someone knows different and if so I hope they'll share. If you want to go one step further in improving your engine's breathing capacity then you might look into a highflow cat which fun about 250, though there's a group buy for OBX cats for like $50. don't know much about them though. sounds a bit TOO cheap.
and then I have a couple of questions for the other posters, first does Hondata make that gasket for the B18B, I thought it was only for the C. And isn't the CTR a Vtec engine, in which case you couldn't use the intake cam on a non-vtec engine correct?

HIGH-FLOW CAT. Think about your exhuast coming out of your engine. It goes through you nice headers and flows really good. But the it hits you old cat, and that kils you your whole exaust flow. The Cat is the #1 fogot about thing on cars. Everybody does i/h/e but everybody forgets about the cat. That is probably the most restrictive thing on your car right now. After that, look at getting a throutle body
DOZED what is wrong with you??? CTR cams on a LS? last time i checked vtec cmas do not work on an LS head!!! Whoaaaa
what about a lighter flywheel? like 12 lbs vs 17 stock? might free up some more power. I definitely agree with the fuel system upgrades, I think that's the only thing that has saved my mid range with the addition of an S2 IM. I think I got a little extra power with just the addition of a hi-flow fuel filter. that was my second mod after intake.
also what about an ITR final drive gear? someone posted about that in another thread and it sounded like it made for a much more fun to drive car. any input on that one?
