Default piston pressing

how hard is it to take my piston of my rod and switch the rods out or should i just take it to a machince shop and let them do it?

yes machine shop would do it for u .. I think is 10 $ per pistons

i did my own ,I bought a presser from harbor freight only to use once lol ...
but it did help me to change my wheel bearings

you or the machine shop is most likely going to mess the pistons up when pressing the pin out.
If your planning on reusing the pistons make sure you take it to a machine shop that has the right equipment, chances of deforming are still possible
