Default A bit weird question

instead of painting my door moldings to match my car which would be like 30 bucks could I just remove them completly? is there tracks behind the moldings on the door would it look screwy?

professional paint job on the side molding would cost more than 30buck

there's a slot with series of hole after you remove it.

if you want to shave the sidemolding you need to..

a)bondo/body filler: cheaper but don't last as long esp. if you slam door often

b)metal welding: more expensive and harder to do but it's permanent.

i agree with what he said.... esspt the bondo part if you slightly hammer the holes in and grind it down with 36 grit... then apply fiberglass then dina glass then bondo.. it should be preety strong.. if you weld you are still gona have to use metal glaze and bondo to get it straight to be honest just get them painted if you dont know how to weld because its a the best way..but without side markers you will be regretting it when someone slams their door into urs lol so i recomed you keep them lol
