Default Damn ATS power Lock

I am here to complain japan's brand ATS that their worst power lock.
My friend bought thier power lock from Japan and set it up to DC5.
The power lock model is ATS DC5 CARBON LSD. It cost arround US$1,300.
Before first run, it was really used LSD oil when RUN IN, it works fine.
The damn thing was on first run, it was getting damn near impossible.
Just FIRST RUN!! Power Lock was totally broken.WTF. WE LOSE!!!!!!!!!!

My friend return to ATS, they send back a report, and noticed that they would refund or repair on it.
I swears that I wouldnt going into boost. I attempt to weed out this kind of stuff.
who does he blame? Respect to JDM ATS, but they no overhead thats awesome!
Shoo ATS industry. Bad quality guaranteed!! WTF!!

Sounds like operator error to me. Anyone I've talked to who has had either of the ATS LSD units have been more than happy with them.

What are you trying to say here?

ATS Japan say they WILL replace or refund or not?

I realize not everybody's first language is english..... I'm lost except for the pics you posted which shows a blown up ATS LSD.....

Feel free to reply in Japanese as there are some members willing to translate for you.

let me see if i can translate this, lol

I am here to complain about the quality of the ATS Carbon power lock LSD.
My friend recently purchased the power lock LSD from ATS japan to run in his DC5. The ATS Carbon power lock LSD is one of their High end LSD's which run at $1300USD. Before we installed the LSD, it was soaked in oil for an extremely long time to ensure that it lasted? On our first run out on the track we were not getting any traction even with the LSD and after the first lap, the LSD broke costing us the race. WTF!!!!!

My friend contacted ATS about his situation and also sent in the broken LSD. They sent back a report saying that it was a part failure on their part and will either refund the full amount or replace it free of charge for him. I swear that i didn't want to boost the car and if i did, i would by the best parts to avoid problems like this. So who is to blame? However, I have lots of respect for ATS japan for handling our problem. Great Customer service, bad parts quality!! WTF!!

I tried my best, i hope everybody can understand what he just said

something bad is bound to happen to a good brand every once in a while.
If you bought this new, I am pretty sure ATS would replace it.
My KAAZ unit on a 240 i had was replaced free of charge from failure.
the kaaz unit i had was made by ats, same company basically
