dyno results inside
ok i had a b20vtec b16 head 11:5 comp pistons and gsr tranny. i had it dyno'd about two years ago and i made 190hp and 145ish tq. all motor was fun but now i want to go turbo so i had the motor rebuilt with low comp piston 9:1 comp and dyno'd 156hp and 115tq. dropping the compression should i expect that much of a loss in power. tuning was done with VAFC hack job on a P28 ecu. the car still feels pretty quick but i do notice a difference. Also the same day a ls/vtec turbo small greddy kit dyno'd at 180ish hp.
What kind of cams were you running before you rebuilt the motor? If they are stock, then i dont know why you had such a decrease in power. But if they were stage 2 or something, then i can see that happening because you are overcamming ur motor and letting to much air into the combustion chambers at once.
