Default need help from those who know

i have a 94 civic ex coupe i just blew up i want to swap out d16z6 with something newer still sohc vtec. what are my options and what do i need.

if you want to stay sohc vtec in a newer year your only option is d16y8, why not stay with the z6

You could put a SOHC VTEC motor from an Accord in your Civic, but that would be expensive.

Why do you want something newer? My Z6 has 263+ thousand miles on it and I beat the **** out of it every day.

wanted something with lower milage. the only thing i knew about a d series was swap it for a bseries. i.m older now and don;t want the hassle this was just an everyday car.

Then put the same motor in it and stop whining. Are you really going to drive that car for another 150,000 miles? Because if the answer is "no" - which if you're honest it will be - the SOHC VTEC D16Z6 will be just fine for the duration.

hey bro if u want a new motor and possibly thinkin about an upgrade at the same time... just call hmotorsonline.com at 8187232572 i talked to a guy who got me everything i need for my B18C1 swap... im sure he can help u out... his name was steve
