well if its heatshields then you just easily remove them with like a 10mm socket. I had custom piping on my hatch and it rubbed on the gas tank which sounded the same as a heatshield so I had them rebend the piping.

Does it happen if you make a hard turn, too?

By the way it's "noise"

i used to drive a mustang gt, and my car now is pretty close in power, my boys got a 99 cobra motor in his gt, and i waxed him the other day....but he has the stock gt gearing...

as for the "noise" its probably the heat shields under your car....get under there and take the one off that sounds like where your noise is coming from then take a ride....

If it's the one on the header just take it off. If it's the one on the cat just be careful parking on the grass during the summer after you've driven for awhile. The main purpose of the heatshield on the cat is to keep you from catching grass on fire when you park on it.

This got a lil off topic lol...but to the OP...look under the car while somebody taps the gas, jack it up if you have to....BE CAREFUL...and listen/look for the rattle and pinpoint what it is. If it is heat shield (which is most likely is) just rip it off
