Combining crush bent and mandrel piping in exhaust...is it OK?
I have a 97 Honda Civic coupe and I just replaced some corroded mandrel bent piping leading into the muffler with crush bent piping (mandrel was too expensive and nobody does it where I live). The rest of the exhaust is mandrel bent. This morning I noticed some vibrations (I could feel little bumps like someone was tapping the bottom of the car with a mallet) at a stop light. The vibrations were periodical and only lasted 20 seconds. I don't know if this was my exhaust causing this or some outside vibration (cars or whatever). The car was warmed up a bit (the idle was around 800-1000). Common sense would tell me that the problem would've continued at least until I hit the next stop light and was idle but it went away.
Is it OK to put crush bent piping toward the rear of the exhaust with the mandrel bent piping before it? I haven't noticed any gas mileage problems or power issues. Am I just paranoid?

It is perfectly fine and should not affect anything mechanically related. If anything, the crush bent piping is made poorly or bent so that it's tapping against something along the undercarriage. It might even be hung improperly at the hangers. It should be an easy fix.
