Check the ITR Forum Guidelines:

"These topics might not appear off-topic, but may get locked or deleted anyway as the prevailing mood permits. Think twice about posting a similar question.
- What do you think my car will put down on a dyno? (Try http://www.psychics.co.uk/chat/, free Psychic chat)"

Different dynos will show +/- 20 HP, and your tuning could change the power by another 10 or 20... so there's no way to guess.

Howdy from Gurnee

p.s. 192 HP

I am new- so i don't know the rules or edicate. sorry. but my car is getting tuned monday, and i just want to know what to expect. estimate only.

last time it was tuned, it had the bolt ons, and skunk2 stg 2 cams, gears, springs and ret. and it only hit 180 to the wheels on dynojet at garage kawi. from what i've read, thats real low. i bought the car used with salvage title, so i'm not sure if theres is something i don't know about the car that is wrong.

Search archived content for "Kwai" in the topic title. Just for fun.

I wouldnt go and say that right away, who rebuilt it, why did the original motor blow, salavage title... maybe someone else is doing something wrong.

FYI, my bone stock 97 threw down 165 on that same exact dyno (at Kwai ).

when i bought it, it had dc header, aem intake, apexi n1 exhst. dynoed 163.

it blew while i was at byron dragway on my first run. at the time, it had bolt ons and the skunk2 head set up. however, there was a dc header on it. a bolt broke and caused a connecting rod for a piston to go through the block.

my dad has a sti and had his car at P and L Motorsports in Franklin Park. they're mainly a subaru shop, but there r a couple honda mechanics there (pinyo and sam). i had it towed there to be rebuilt.

i was worried about the salvage title but got the car for a good price. I know that there could be other things that could be wrong with it being salvage, but i don't know how to find out if there is anyway at all.
