The engine dyno'd at 208 WHP / 154 TQ and ran 12.91 @ 106.98 MPH on drag radials in a 2450 w/driver Civic.

 

why is it that most people That I know that build a 2 liter want to sell it?

most that build a 1.8 seem to keep it alot longer.

Buisness would dictate add up what everything cost you and take off 20% , then take off an aditional 10% for each market period, in Import Parts I would say it is every three months so if you added everything up and got $10,000 take off 20% right away $8000, then if you had for 6 months take 20% from 8K. so thats $6400.

Now that is just how factories do It on Machines. Its just my Accounting talking. cars are differant because the can be judged in miles. So maybe if I were you I would use my same formula and use matbe 5000 miles instead of three months,

and maybe only use 15% instead of 20% for inital depretation. anyway if this helps great, if not than the Import market is VERY differant than any other type of market out. and I may end up doing my Thesis for grad school, on the Import market and depretation

An $Xk car with $Yk in modifications is probably worth $Xk regardless of how big Y is. Unfortunately, the Blue Book will probably give you the answer you are looking for.

Out of curiosity, why are you going to get a CL? Don't tell me you grew up....I hate it when people "grow up" and get an old people car...lol. Good luck

 

I'm not sure what I'll get yet but once I pay off debt I'm going to get an old person car. It's not a matter of growing up, it's a matter of useless performance on the street. I hit VTEC maybe once a week these days. I'll just keep my faster cars on the track.

 

So the twin turbo LTD is going to be a track only car

 

thats a good point. I have changed a lot since I got my gsr my senior year in 2000. I used to try to race people and **** all the time. I almost had a deadly accident from me being stupid, so I got lucky and I try my best not to really race at all on the roads. I have to admit, I still rip into VTEC all the time when I am by myself tho.

What's the asking price? I have my motor out right now and I'm kicking all sorts of fun ideas around.

I have a 1998 B18C5 swap with ATS 4.929-equipped tranny and I'm still kicking ideas around before it;s time to drop the motor back in my car.

BTW: It's totally stock internally and put down 175whp and 122ft./lbs. of torque - in other words, totally reliable but still has good power.

Possible trade envolved?

Hx_this is kinda ot but I would like to know how much your car was retarded in timing and what pump gas you where using? I am building a similar b20/vtec and just need some tuning advise. thank you.
