Ok heres what happened i this morning i took out the thermostat and when i put it back on and reconnected everything. the car just cranks and it wont start.

1 yes i did check the posts on the main relay thing but the problem is that i dont hear it click.

2 i dont hear the fuel pump and when i crank it, i dont smell fuel either.

3 and the main one... usually on all cars ive drove when youre about to start your engine, and flip the swich to RUN the yellow check engine light usually comes on then goes off in a couple of seconds. but now it doesnt even come on. any of you guys that has had this problem please help me i neeed it!!!

I've never had any problem like that before. I've done installing turbos on cars and sometime we forget to Reconnect the Battery Back. You might want to check your Battery or check the Battery Wires. Also check the Fuse to see any of them are burnt (Driver Side, Passenger Side and the one under the hood).

 

check to see if your ecu is getting power.

 

yeah i think it is one of the wires but i dont know where the ECU is. ive tried looking for it under the passengers side front carpet but it wasnt there.

 

If the check engine light isn't coming on during bulb check, your ECU is not getting power, or ground. Check ALL grounds under the hood, around where you were working.

 

put the ground back on to the T-stat housing
Check around to see if you can figure out what YEAR and MODEL you have?

 

the ground thats it. i think. my model is a 1991 honda accord DX or EX but im 90% sure its a DX.

heres what ive found today.

still when i set the ignition to II the batery light the oil light and the seatbelt light come on. but not the yellow check engine light. i took out the carpet and it turns out that those idiots put the ECU Backwards so i cant see the blinking light. or if its like you guys say that its because the ecu is not getting power cause of the grounding then the light wouldnt come on. i will try to look for grounds right now. and if this trial membership ends and becomes full i will post the results but im gonna start around the thermostat area.
