Ground Control Application Question
Hello,
I have a set of Ground Control coilover sleeves for which I am unsure of the exact specification. They are labeled by GC as being for ITR's w/ Bilsteins (as shown below)

Seeing as I do not own an ITR, I was hoping the ITR forum could help me w/ their experience.
1) Do ITR's have bilstein shocks stock (I am under the impression they do)?
2) Are aftermarket bilstein shocks for the ITR externally equivalent to the OEM version?
Thanks for your help guys, I need to get rid of these and need to know this information to answer anyone who asks about their application.

No, I believe that the tube is much bigger. I'm not 100% sure about this though. Hopefully another will chime in.

Planning on going Bilstein/GC as this setup should suit my driving best since I daily drive my R and Auto-x.

The bilsteins are different than oem shocks for other integras. This was sort of dependent on the first.

Those GCs will only work for ITRs with Bilstein shocks. The sleeve is made to go over the Bilstein shock instead of the stock ITR shocks.
$200 is good deal for sure and those would make good rates for autox/dd.

Right, that is what I wanted to make sure. I knew they needed bilsteins but I was asked several times if they fit over ITR OEM shocks and I really didn't know if they were different or not.
$200 is a good deal, since I have koni's, I just want them gone

Bilstein-specific GC's are make to fit over on the bilstein adj mounting ring. Therefore, they will not mount on any other style of shock. They are similar to Koni specific GC's but use a different sleeve, same mounting style.
I DO NOT want to break forum rules, but for those that are interested:

I'd assume ITR shocks were valved differently to handle the higher rates. Are there any external differences when compared w/ other integra shocks other than the lca mount?

Are you talking about the Bilsteins?
If so, the normal integra bilsteins are HD models, the ITR are Sport models. This may mean different valving, not sure, it does mean that the ITR ones have more height adjustment points on the shock itself (you install a ring in a groove and have a few choices).
I am not sure if the body diameters are different. I've installed a LOT of bilsteins on both non ITRs and ITRs and have never cared enough to measure..

if you trust ebay sellers to give you exact custom rates...sure... do you have a link to one of the auctions?
not to mention what length spring they use.
