We have had the VPD Skinny discussion many times the past couple years.

While our company has wanted to manufacture this wheel to match the front design since 2003, we have not really seen a large interest in justifying manufacturing this size.
Instead, we have a new wheel design that we are planning to release to join the VPD 13" line. We feel a new design will be a better investment for us.

We've received a few PMs and calls regarding the skinny design, but to really make it worth it and receive a return on our investment, we'd have to sell over 150 pairs of skinnies to even break even.

We'll do the skinnies since many have requested it, but we'd have to get a good amount of buyers to pre-order and it takes 8 weeks to complete.

im interested whats the price on the rear skinnies and front is there a package deal? let me know thank you

 

rear skinnies are going to be around $300/pair and of course we can do tires with them too. We just have to get enough interest to do the skinnies first before putting a package deal together.

 

i'd be interested.already have gold VPDs for the front.
would the colors also match the current Lenso colors?

thats the spirit!! You guys have to think from our point of view. With just a small number of responses, its hard to justify spending thousands of dollars on the mold plus more to get this wheel in stock.
So we need crazy hype on this. hehe. maybe if we made it look like a Mugen wheel, the JDM crowd will get them to roll on. haha.
