True, but it's always like that when a new tire comes out.

Soon everyone will extol the virtues of the Dunlop Qualifiers...

Then I can swoop on cheap Pilot Power prices.

I just saw those Dunlop Qualifiers today at Cycle Gear for the first time, they LOOK badass ... is this supposed to be Dunlops new competitor with the Pilot Powers?

Pretty much. As tire technology progresses, the line between "sport, but-can-do-trackdays" and "full-on-track" tires gets a little blurry.

Those prices for SuperCorsas are fantasmic. I would get a set or two if I didn't have a set of Pilot Race and Racetecs. :doh

The Pilot Powers are a street tire.

The Supercorsas are a DOT-legal race tire.

The PPs will heat up quickly and handle well. The SCs will not heat up as fast at street-temperatures (and will lose any temperature if they're only ridden on the street). Otherwise, for the track, SC > PP.

Pilot Powers SUCK...

I'd rather use a Pirelli, or Dunlop any day.. the Power Race are the ones to use..

Many people would make the same claim about the 208ZRs.

Hate to say it ... but 9 out of 10 people will disagree with that statement.

Yep. Dungflops are crap. Although, my 208GPAs were good for race rubber. But I liked the feel of the Michelin Power Race and Metzeler Racetec more than the 208GPA.
